We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our International Talent Acquisition Team to support across the U.S., Mexico, and Senegal. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent across various departments. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to understand staffing needs and help build a strong employer brand through strategic sourcing and a seamless candidate experience. You will be able to achieve this through your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to guide and influence to achieve outcomes, and underpinned by your market knowledge and by your demonstrated excellent service delivery.

This role is offered on a 12-month fixed term basis.
This role offers the ability to work across a fully integrated HR function where you will be able to guide and influence hiring decisions, have access to senior leaders and executives, and directly impact culture by hiring the people who share our vision.
On a day-to-day basis you will carry out the full range of TA responsibilities from job brief, advertising, screening, interview, due diligence, offer and acceptance.
Amongst other activities you will also get the opportunity to engage in brand-building activities and attend events on behalf of Woodside.
- Use data and metrics, and an understanding of the long-term business requirements, to advise on the implications of talent gaps. Support the development of recruiting processes and strategies.
- Apply deep knowledge of business and hiring managers' needs (e.g., time to hire, location, compensation) and use this knowledge to guide the development of end-to-end hiring plans aligned to the needs of the business group.
- Consults on critical talent needs and opportunities. Present and frame information in a way that speaks to the needs of the business, and influences leaders to embrace differentiated and alternative types of talent.
- Analyze relevant data and trends to provide insight and set plans to meet hiring goals. Lead the implementation of a hiring plan for complex organizations or talent pools that addresses both business demand and availability of talent for short-term and long-term needs.
- Uses deep knowledge of competitor opportunities to differentiate Woodside’s unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards and leverages a consistent, compelling message that conveys the most significant motivators to prospective candidates.
- Tracks candidate activity and share with internal stakeholders.
- Own the candidate experience and prepare candidates for the next phase of the process.
- Lead the optimization of policies, systems, and processes throughout the organization, and guides stakeholders on the impact of these changes.
- Maintain current documentation on candidates’ qualifications and status in the appropriate staffing or tracking system, within compliance guidelines (e.g., OFCCP , GDPR). Captures relevant data in recruiting platform and leverages data to inform meaningful insights
We are looking for an experienced recruiter, preferably with client-side / owner / operator type organization, but we are open to considering people with agency and other in-house experiences.
You’ll be able to demonstrate full end to end recruitment, with an ability to build high-trust relationships with all stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in sourcing diverse candidates in a tight market.
Knowledge of a range of professional roles (e.g. engineering, project controls, finance, legal etc)
Experience with Search tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
Degree qualifications in HR, Psych or similar would be a benefit, but not essential.
