Please note: This position is hybrid and expected to work Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with expectations to be in our Perrysburg office in Perrysburg, OH or a field location. We are located at 27096 Oakmead Drive, Perrysburg, OH.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR AT SIGMA:
The System Administrator will act as the liaison between the Delivery, IT and Innovation teams to roll out and standardize usage of assigned systems or applications. This position will conduct analysis through research, gather and interpret data, develop alternatives and recommendations and work closely will partner teams to develop efficiency and standardization within systems used. This role will maintain platform settings and specifications.
Essential Job Functions:
•Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training and communication of changes in systems and/or processes related to those systems or applications.
•Drive and maintain standardization of tooling across Sigma to gain efficiencies, implementing best practices.
•Perform audits and inquiries; assess business issues and risks within the organization.
•Research and analyze complex data.
•Add/change/modify the platform settings and specifications within the system.
•Report on performance and develop alternatives and recommendations for improvement.
•Lead the implementation of selected systems or applications.
•Other duties as assigned.

•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
•Experience: 3 years’ experience in system administration and deployment, or related roles, preferable within a services or design firm.
•Project management skills including project leadership, task identification, scheduling, and cost/expenditure identification.
•Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information.
•Teamwork skills to collaborate and negotiate with and influence peers, management and vendors.
•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks quickly.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders which may be sensitive and complex in nature.
•Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project timelines.
•Ability to learn and operate proprietary software and other computer systems.
•Strong experience with 3rd party systems such as Katapult, AutoCAD, Microstation, and GIS systems.
•Familiarity with land surveying and geomatics.
•Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand.
•Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance.
•Able to pass a background check/drug test/driving record check.
•Authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to endure frequent, lengthy periods of sedentary work and sit for prolonged periods of time.
•Must be able to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
•Must have the physical ability to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing notes, and viewing a computer terminal; these activities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
•Must have the physical ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, often in a group setting.
•Must have the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
