- Assist drivers and operators of gin trucks, cranes, flatbeds, haul trucks, and other hoisting machines used to lift and move machinery, equipment, or materials.
- Travel to and works at various outlying locations as necessary for drilling rig moves, customer work orders, and miscellaneous company assignments.
- Assist drivers in loading and unloading freight, either manually or by operating forklift.
- Climb and works on cranes and other lifting mechanisms, and objects or structures being lifted or moved; works often on irregular or slippery surfaces; may be required to work in a manbucket.
- Hooks/unhooks and positions pulleys, ropes, cables, chains, slings, or other grappling equipment and attachments.
- Place blocking, outriggers, or screw jacks in position to hold equipment upright when lifting heavy loads; cleans and replaces when job is finished.
- Signal driver or operator, vocally or with hand signals, to guide in connecting, lifting, and moving loads when view of driver or operator is obstructed.
- Service small company vehicles, primarily pickups, by changing oil, greasing, changing fuel tanks, seats, etc.; notifies supervisor if vehicle requires more than general maintenance.
- Run for miscellaneous parts, supplies, and equipment as needed and as authorized; turns in charge slips, invoices, or receipts for all items.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures for all work assignments, indoors and outdoors; reports compliance problems to supervisor.
- Previous related work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Acceptable results of a DOT physical.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
