We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Combo Vac Swamper to join our field operations team. As a Swamper, you will work alongside a Combo Vac Truck Operator to assist in various industrial cleaning, environmental, and oilfield-related services. This is a physically demanding role that requires long hours, travel to remote job sites, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Assist Combo Vac Operator with set-up and operation of vacuum and high-pressure equipment
- Handle hoses, rig up and rig down equipment, and perform general labor duties on site
- Support with cleaning tanks, vessels, sumps, and other industrial equipment
- Load and unload tools and materials
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and cleaned properly after use
- Follow all company and client safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with confined space entry, ground watch, and spotter duties as required
- Maintain proper documentation and paperwork during operations
- Travel to various job sites, often in remote areas, sometimes for extended periods
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
- H2S Alive and First Aid certifications (mandatory)
- CSTS, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and Ground Disturbance tickets (preferred)
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Previous experience as a Swamper or in the oilfield/industrial services industry is an asset
