Crane Truck Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Crane Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience. As a Crane Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating crane trucks and other heavy machinery to support various construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient and safe completion of tasks on-site.

Responsibilities

- Operate crane trucks and other heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, and backhoes, in a safe and efficient manner.

- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks.

- Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans effectively while adhering to safety regulations.

- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and job progress throughout the project lifecycle.

- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction site operations is essential.

- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is preferred.

- Experience operating various types of machinery including concrete mixers, Caterpillar equipment, farm machinery, and tankers is a plus.

- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required for operating specific vehicles on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
