Surveyor

Overview:

Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Location: Blackwater Mine Site

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.

- Complete construction survey layout of cut/fills, roads, corridors, slopes, pipes runs etc.

- Complete construction as-built surveys of civil structures, stockpiles, pipelines etc.

- Provide locates and demarcation for underground utilities, instrumentation etc.

- Produce volume calculations, as-builts, and designs in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Deswick CAD software.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and produce AutoCAD Civil 3D layout and material take-offs

- Operate survey drones and process drone data, hold or obtain required Transport Canada licensing

- Coordinate with BW Gold Project team, contractors, and other departments as necessary

- Attend regular team meetings and adhoc meetings

Qualifications:

- Preferably 3-5 years of surveying experience working on heavy civil earthworks pro

- Experience using Trimble Geosystems Equipment, other brands will be considered.

- Must possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities

- Proficient with setting up base stations, survey equipment, and completing civil survey work

- Must be skilled in the unsupervised use of RTK GPS and Total Station systems including equipment setup and problem resolution

- Experience with operating drones to capture and analyze survey data is considered an asset

- Ability and willingness to split time between office and field

- Ability to drive in congested high traffic mining and construction areas

- Ability to walk in similar congested/high traffic construction areas as well as more remote areas on site (uneven footing is commonplace)

- Ability to frequently lift/carry survey gear (typically less than 20kgs)

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
