Surveyor Assistant

SURVEY TECHNICIAN

I3 Engineering is searching for a Survey Technician to augment their existing workforce. The Survey Technician is responsible for applying theories of surveying to transporting, setup and operating survey equipment under the direction of an experienced Surveyor.

REQUIREMENTS for the Survey Technician:

- Must be able to work in all types of weather (extreme heat, cold, etc.).

- Must be able to be exposed to heights and moderate to difficult terrains, while having the ability to safely use hand tools, etc.

- Must be able to withstand a physically demanding job, carrying between 25 – 50 lbs. routinely and walking for lengthy periods of time.

- Follows all safety requirements and wears proper PPE.

- Handles basic issues and problems.

- Possesses strong organizational skills.

- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

This is a Federal DOT safety-sensitive position and therefore is subject to pre-employment and random substance abuse testing.

The company offers a salary between $20 and $25/hr. and great benefits including medical/dental, life insurance, short and long term disability and a 401k plan.
