JOB PURPOSE
EQUS is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Services Leader who will be responsible for overseeing EQUS’ supply chain and fleet programs. This position works collaboratively across the organization and brings a strategic mindset to supply chain management, procurement, and fleet, ensuring EQUS is getting the best value for their members on procured goods.
DUTIES
•Use values-based leadership practices to lead and motivate the supply chain team in their roles to achieve engagement and high performance.
•Lead the supply chain team through EQUS’ talent management cycle, including goal setting and performance support.
•Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
•Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the supply chain.
•Direct and monitor inventory planning, forecasting, and management to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs.
•Track and report on inventory KPIs.
•Oversee the development, management, and standardization of the Fleet Management Program.
•Develop and maintain a competitive bid process.
•Process requests for proposals, quotations, and information processes, and develop and execute bid evaluation criteria and templates.
•Build and negotiate contracts with the Legal Department
•Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigating strategies, ensuring continuity of supply, and minimizing disruptions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
•5 + years of supply chain management experience at with previous leadership
•Extensive knowledge of the supply chain management industry best practices
•Working knowledge of procurement, contracting, competitive bid documents, warehousing and inventory principles and logistics strategies
•Effective professional communication and change management skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Precision, accuracy, and attention to detail
•Ability to lead using values-based leadership principles and practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Degree in Commerce, Business or Management
•SCMP Professional Designation and Professional Membership
