The Opportunity:
The Supply Analyst provides accurate, relevant, and timely information and analysis to divisional business leaders to enable them to evaluate results and use these facts when making business decisions. The successful candidate will play a strategic role within Parkland and will have the potential to significantly contribute to the profitability of the division.
Responsibilities:•Conducts various high-impact analyses to support strategic decisions, including budget support, arbitrage evaluation, NYH pricing evaluation and tracking, margin and feasibility studies, volume analysis, contract evaluation and reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
•Generates and distributes daily, weekly and monthly reports to internal stakeholders and continuously works on improving reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
•Maintains and analyzes supply contracts, ensures compliance tracking, and acts as a point of contact for historical reporting and contract-related data support.
•Supports the creation and maintenance of pricing models, including JDE pricing loads and uploads on a rotating schedule (mornings, afternoons, weekends), and responds to ad hoc pricing and data requests.
•Collaborates with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Sales Channels) and external suppliers to deliver timely, data-driven insights that inform decision-making and process optimization.
•Drives process improvements, supports discrepancy resolution, and ensures data integrity across systems and reporting tools.
Requirements:
•Flexibility to work outside of standard work hours, including earlier mornings, later evenings, and weekends on rotation is required.
•Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, particularly in rack pricing, margin analysis, and contract reconciliation.
•Experience with complex analysis, dissection of large sets of data with extensive formulation, as well as creating new processes to solve a problem with high attention to detail is necessary.
•Outcome-oriented self-starter with a strong drive to identify and improve processes, think outside the box, and discover solutions under limited guidance is required.
•Being independent, but having a team-based, customer service approach is critical to success in the organization.
•Ability to embrace change, pressure, and a continuous improvement approach is required.
•Strong interpersonal (written and verbal) skills necessary to interact with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as with external contacts.
•Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are a must.
•Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., JDE, SAP), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, DAS), and automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate) is preferred
•University Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline is preferred.
•3+ years in a supply analytics, pricing, finance, or operations role in a complex industry is preferred.
