Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Summary: Ebm-Papst is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Farmington, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires proficiency in SAP and production planning, with occasional travel once or twice per quarter.
Essential Job Functions: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:
Responsible for strategic allocation planning, supply chain optimization, and inventory management while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include:
•Utilizing SAP at an Intermediate or Higher Level to monitor supply chain activities.
•Sketching Current Flow of Production Planning and Material Ordering and identifying opportunities of improvement as well as managing the implementation of improvement.
•Utilizing Data Analytic tools, primarily Excel, Power BI, Power Queries to organize data to make decisions to meet KPI’s
•Work with Cross Functional Teams to Solve Crisis management problems, build Catch Up Plans, manage catch-up plans, analyze root cause system breakdowns and correct.
•Aligning supply and demand through mid- and long-term planning.
•Leading collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
•Identifying supply chain inefficiencies and implementing improvement strategies.
•Enhancing logistics operations and strengthening supplier relationships.
•Conducting plant efficiency analysis and tracking cycle times.
•Managing short / mid / long term Capacity Planning
•Managing key allocation decisions and communicating plans across facilities.
•Supporting product management activities, RFQs, and business planning.
•Reviewing stock levels, tracking key performance indicators, and maintaining quality standards.
•Preparing reports on supply chain performance and metrics.
•Engaging in continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and material availability.
•Travel requirement: 10-25%; up to 50% domestic, 10% international.
•Adhering to travel policy and performing additional assigned duties.
•Perform all other duties as assigned
Recommended Education:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or Engineering / Business or related field; minimum 2 years related experience.
Skills
•SAP Intermediate experience a must, AS400 MacPac a plus, and advanced excel skills (pivot tables), power query, power BI, Forecast / Modeling a plus
•Strong knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
•Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques to identify process inefficiencies.
•Ability to build production plans a must
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
•Demonstrated experience in optimizing logistics operations to improve supply chain performance.
•Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and drive impactful changes within the supply chain.
