Job Description

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the overall product quality provided by our suppliers. This position provides both technical oversight and supplier quality management with a focus on managing and growing the capabilities of our suppliers to ensure compliance to requirements. Works closely with a cross functional team and suppliers to resolve major quality issues. Visits suppliers to understand their processes, controls and verify controls are executed as planned. Maintains systematic reporting and metrics for suppliers on their quality performance to drive continuous improvement and efficiency. U.S. citizen required and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, Supplier Management

Security: U.S. citizen required and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Travel: Up to 10%
