Quality Control Field Supervisor
supporting our Florida and Louisiana Operations. UtiliQuest, LLC, a leading provider of quality underground utility damage prevention for over three decades. The
Quality Control
Field Supervisor
reports directly to the Operations Director. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of employees engaging in Quality Assurance and Damage Investigation activities. The
Quality Control
Field Supervisor
will also ensure that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met, set goals for the Quality Control Field Technicians and make sure they comply with the company’s plans and vision.

What you’ll do as a Quality Control Field Supervisor
•Supervise a group of 10 or more Quality Assurance Coordinators located throughout the territory.
•Conduct damage investigations to determine and document root cause.
•Collaborate with internal partners to select and assign quality audits.
•Perform root cause analysis on quality failures and identify trends.
•Assist Quality Assurance Coordinators with troubleshooting.
•Track open/pending investigations and ensure proper and timely completion.
•Train and mentor Quality Assurance Coordinators.
•Will travel throughout territory (frequently and on short notice).
•Ensure proper employee coverage throughout territory.
•Participate in employee annual reviews.
•Represent UtiliQuest in small claims court and depositions when necessary.
•Effectively communicate in both verbal and written format.
•Review completed damage investigations and audits for efficiency and accuracy.
What You’ll Need
•5 or more years of locating experience and/or equivalent
•1 or more years of experience in quality auditing and damage investigations
•Prior computer experience including Excel, Word, and Google Docs
•Ability to speak in group settings
•Demonstrate ability to appropriately manage conflict
•Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
Physical Abilities & Exposures
•Completes and maintains all training
•Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
•Maintain punctuality and attendance at all shifts and training sessions
•Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours
•Regular use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools
•Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time
•The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
•Hearing and speaking to exchange information
•The employee shall follow all safety rules at all times
•Will need to have the ability to work a flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends) as needed.
•The pay scale for this position is $62000 - $68000 / Yr (Salary is commensurate with experience)
