Since 1939, Memphis Light, Gas and Water has delivered reliable and affordable electricity, natural gas, and water service to residents. Electricity is supplied by the Tennessee Valley Authority while natural gas and water are sourced from various suppliers and one of the largest artesian water systems in the world. MLGW is led by a president and a five-member board of commissioners appointed by the mayor of Memphis and approved by the Memphis City Council.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Supervisor of Internal Audit located in the Memphis Metropolitan Area. The Supervisor of Internal Audit will be responsible for overseeing and conducting audits to assess financial records, compliance with regulations, and efficiency of operations. Key tasks include planning audit engagements, evaluating risk management processes, providing recommendations for system improvements, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures. The position requires collaboration with various departments to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
