SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:
The Field Services Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role in coordinating and supervising field operations to support mining activities. This position ensures that service technicians and crews deliver high-quality support for equipment maintenance, installations, inspections, and repairs in a safe and efficient manner. The Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact between field teams and management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project goals.
Role accountabilities:
•Supervises daily field service activities, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
•Supervises earthworks for drilling, road maintenance, and projects.
•Ensures all equipment, and vehicles are equipped to OSHA/MSHA/OEM standards.
•Responsible for maintaining, update, and reports for equipment performance and downed equipment and ensure repairs are corrected in a timely manner for both reactive and proactive work being performed.
•Support operations team to specify equipment requirements that optimizes field productivity and minimize the life cycle cost of equipment.
•Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to the field teams.
•Supervise crew activities throughout shifts to ensure safe and efficient accomplishment of assignments.
•Manage field service technician and contractors (as needed), including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks and evaluating performance using the performance management system and to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals and tasks.
•Perform daily administrative duties such as timecards, reports, supply requisitions, effective safety meetings and manage daily workload.
•Ability to mentor, train, and onboard employees on technical processes or other tasks as needed.
•Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies
•Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks and risk assessments regularly.
•Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.

•Authorities in relation to direct report(s): Oversee hourly Process Maintenance, Mobile and Fixed Technicians.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•A minimum of five (5) years heavy equipment experience in a mining or construction environment with a combination of field and office work required with at least two (2) years in supervisory role.
•Knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment.

•MSHA & OSHA Safety Standards
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time Exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically 4/10 schedule (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday) 6:00am to 4pm or as directed by the supervisor. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand or travel to other AngloGold Ashanti location as needed.
COMPENSATION:
Base Salary Range - $85,000 - $105,000
