We are a dynamic construction and manufacturing shop located in Inman, SC, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics & Facilities Coordinator to join our team.
Position Overview:
This Logistics & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring logistical and facility needs to ensure consistent operation. Storing and retrieving tools/parts from storage and monitoring inventories so that the shop and field crews can work safely and efficiently are essential to the success of the position. This position will also be responsible for shipping/receiving, equipment and facilities maintenance coordination, IVI fleet schedule and miscellaneous identified support tasks.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Tool Crib/Facilities Duties:
•Maintain spare parts and consumable supplies for shop and field use.
•Inspect, inventory, and organize returned tools and consumables.
•Coordinate maintenance of shop equipment, building, and vehicle fleet.
•Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on tools and facilities.
•Keep the yard and facilities clean and organized.
Shipping and Receiving Duties:
•Manage all shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely material handling.
•Inspect incoming shipments and maintain inventory accuracy.
•Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and field personnel.
•Organize inventory stock and ensure proper storage practices.
Fleet Management Duties:
•Assign and monitor vehicle usage, maintenance, and cleanliness.
•Ensure DOT inspections are completed and compliant.
•Maintain detailed vehicle and fleet records.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position may have some supervisory responsibility when directing the efforts of a pre-apprentice.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position which will typically involve at least 40 hours of work a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be able to work overtime if necessary.
TRAVEL
This position may require minimal travel.
QUALIFICATIONS

•High school diploma or equivalent (required); 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
•Vaid driver’s license (required); ability to become DOT compliant is a plus.
•Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to safely operate forklifts and house cranes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a physically active role, requiring regular lifting (up to 50 lbs, occasionally over 70 lbs) and working near moving machinery. Safety and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
