Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an Outage Planning Support Summer Student to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:

- Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation related to outage projects.

- Input and update information in databases and software systems used for tracking outage project progress.

- Assist in the planning and scheduling of outage activities.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.

- Help in creating timelines and project schedules.

- Coordinate logistics for equipment and materials needed for the outage.

- Assist in tracking shipments and deliveries to ensure timely availability of resources.

- Participate in safety meetings and help ensure that safety guidelines are followed during the outage.

- Support field personnel by providing assistance during the execution of outage activities.

- Communicate with various stakeholders, including team members, contractors, and vendors.

- Assist in preparing reports and updates for management and other relevant parties.

- Assist in identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the Outage.

- Collaborate with team members to find solutions to challenges encountered during the project.

- Work closely with members of the turnaround / outage team as well as other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas or suggestions for improvement.

- Assist in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation related to outage / turnaround processes.

What you bring:

Required

- Enrolled in 2nd year or above Bachelor Degree program in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering program.

- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Salary Range:

$52,000 - $64,480. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the student's field and year of study.
