The Welder is responsible for the welding of materials, parts and/or equipment per project schematics and drawings. Welders use detailed specifications to complete their role in a project’s construction and carefully inspect their work for imperfections and defects to ensure the structural integrity of their projects.

· You will carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
· You must also co-operate with management and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal obligations.
· Ensure that you follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training the Company provides and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk.

· Two years’ experience in welding or a manufacturing environment or equivalent
· Must be able to pass an FCAW weld test in 3G position
· Proficient in use of hand tools, such as hand torch, squares, level, tape measure, etc.
· Has mathematical aptitude, including decimals and fractions
