The Welder is responsible for assembling pieces of metal together according to customer specifications. Must be skilled in various metal types including aluminum.
- Precision Mig & Tig Welds. (_Primarily Tig_) Tig weld experience is a must.
- Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
- Identifying the materials to be used in the project
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
- Assisting in the production of various manufactured products
- Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training, which we provide
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move 50lbs regularly
- Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
Work Experience:
- 1-year minimum verifiable work experience in a similar position
- Most recent employment in a similar position with separation on good terms
Full Time / 40hrs
Day Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Overtime as needed.
Starting Pay Rate: $20-$22 an hour - dependent upon experience
