Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and driven Structural Engineer to join our team and support engineering projects across the US.
Our team consists of engineering and scientific professionals licensed in over 30 states and with over 100 years of collective experience. Your role will have flexibility to work remotely along with in person work at our South Plainfield, NJ location.

“Must-have” qualifications and attributes:
•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis (or related discipline)
•Valid US Driver’s License and reliable transportation
•Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented, “get-it-done” mindset
•High attention to detail, with strong organizational, collaboration, and team-building skills
•Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
•Foundational understanding of structural engineering concepts, methods, and design principles
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
“Nice-to-have” qualifications and experience:
•Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
•Familiarity with building codes and structural design standards, such as IBC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7
•Experience (academic or professional) in foundation and structural design, including preparation of design reports
•Exposure to structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, SAP2000, Autodesk Robot, etc.)
•Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit drafting tools
What you’ll work on and grow into:
•Collaborate with a team of high-performing engineers on diverse projects in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors
•Support detailed design and engineering calculations under the direction of mid-level and senior staff, including foundations and structural systems for solar, wind, battery storage, natural gas, and other energy projects
•Contribute to the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD and/or Revit
•Participate in fieldwork, including construction observations and structural inspections of existing facilities
•Assist with technical memos and engineering reports that communicate findings, designs, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
•Take an active role in your professional development through continuing education, industry involvement, and hands-on project exposure designed to push your growth

Pay: $71,244.00 - $77,440.00 per year
