Steel warehouse shipping and receiving

This is a 4 -10 hour shift Mon. thru Thur. 6:00 am to 4:30 PM for 40 hrs.

Must be available to work modifide hours TBD during the week for 3-4 weeks for Training purposes. Before transitioning to the 4-10 hr shift

General Material material handlers

Duties include, but not limited to:

-Operating independently while putting safety first

-Pulling/processing customer orders

-Interpreting written and verbal instruction

-Perform basic math functions

-Shipping and receiving stock

-Operation of equipment such as overhead crane, forklift, bandsaw, plasma table,

-Properly filling out paperwork and maintaining material traceability

-Read a tape measure and Know fractions and math

-Able to work long hours on your feet and ability to lift 50 lbs.

This is a minimum 40 hour per week position.

Overtime will be as needed as business levels dictate.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a Safety-first attitude and great work ethic.

This is a Physically demanding Position and will require long periods on your feet working both inside warehouse as well as Outside in the elements.

Overhead Crane and Forklift experience is desired also be familiar with Steel and Aluminum products.

Required PPE will be provided.

Requirements:

Applicant must have a valid AK driver’s license or State issued ID and be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and thorough Background check.
