This person will be responsible for the receiving, unloading & properly storing raw materials to begin the fabrication process. This person will be responsible for checking & loading jobs for delivery at the end of the fabrication process.
· Unloading flatbed trucks of raw steel 20’ to 40’ long
· Checking received orders against a P.O. to verify correct delivery of ordered material.
· Checking current stock for material to use in upcoming jobs.
· Ensuring correct quantity of parts for each shipment
· Loading shipments onto trailers of finished product to be delivered to jobsites
· Retrieving orders and materials from storage area both inside and outside
· Receiving hardware orders and checking received hardware against a P.O.

· Ability to work inside and outside year round
· Ability to drive a forklift and lull
· Ability to read a tape measure and identify metal by shape and size
· Ability to stand for 10hrs and lift at least 50lbs
· Ability to read, write and speak English.
Shipping/Receiving individuals will need to be mindful of heavy equipment and safety when loading/unloading and storing materials.
This position requires individuals to stand for up to 10 hours per day and lift 50 lbs.
Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. & Friday with a 1 hour lunch as scheduled with management. This position may require hours beyond the standard working hours listed above to satisfy job duties and department demand.
