Steel Tube Bending Set-Up/Operator

Barker Wire Products, a division of Angola Wire Products, Inc., is a Midwest manufacturer in the commercial display industry.

We manufacture a wide variety of items from wire racks, POP displays, wire baskets, wire grids and wire shelves. Wire, mesh and tube benches are a few of the specialty items we produce.

Qualifications include:

- Ability to set-up and operate various tube fabrication machines, saws, benders, punch equipment and forming machines

- Operate basic and precision measuring tools, power and hand tools

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

- Must have good mechanical aptitude

- Previous tube fabrication experiences a plus

- Ability to document and maintain records

- Familiar with computer Microsoft systems

- Ability to gather and analyze data to identify problems and improve product quality

- Inspection experience

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

- Setup and Operate various tube fabrication machines, saws, benders, punch equipment and forming machines

- Operate a forklift

- Manage workflow

- Complete First and Last piece inspections

- Communicate to department Supervisors

- Perform various quality tasks as needed

Our 1st shift works Monday - Thursday 9 hour days, Friday 4 hours, unless needed more for Overtime.
