Steel Fabricator/Welder/Ironworker

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications and blueprints

- Operate hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts

- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and diagrams

- Use measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure accuracy of dimensions

- Perform basic math calculations to determine material requirements

- Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy materials

- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role

- Proficient in stick welding techniques

- Knowledge of machining processes and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely

- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment
