Fabricator/Welder

Logan Steel is looking for a welder/fabricator to join our family! We are looking for fabricators with structural, miscellaneous metals and job shop experience.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

➢ Extensive interpretation of customer sketches and blueprints

➢ Preparing cut lists

➢ Lay out components for fabrication

➢ Create simple jigs/fixtures

➢ Loading/unloading material via overhead crane or forklift

➢ Grinding and prepping materials for weldments

➢ Fabrication of aluminum, stainless steel and other exotic metals

➢ Cleaning of tools and equipment and general maintenance of workspace

Experience & Education:

➢ Trade School/High School

➢ Ability to interpret and verify measurements according to blueprints

Physical Demands:

➢ Good general health with good balance, agility, vision, and depth perception

➢ Ability to twist, stretch, push, pull, & lift on a regular basis

➢ Ability to stand for extended periods of time

➢ Climb on units and/or ladders

➢ Lift up to 50 lbs.
