Underground Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Fabricator / Welder.

•Responsible for fabrication and welding for WEKO Seal product line
•Responsible for manufacturing rubber seals
•Welding, fabrication, rigging, lifting of heavy objects in a safe manner, use of forklifts, use of scissors lifts, use of cutting equipment, torch, plasma saw and assembly of projects, as well as general repair and maintenance of shop equipment
•Directly supports field crews in troubleshooting material issues
•Prepare products to ship
•Move parts and heavy frames on and off machinery and throughout the facility
•Perform repairs and maintenance on fabrication equipment to include hydraulics, electrical, robotics, and other components
•Perform fabrication equipment evaluation and testing, using measuring and diagnostic devices to adjust, test, and repair equipment
•Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical problems as needed
•Communicate and maintain good relations with vendors and customers
•Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws
QUALIFICATIONS
•High School diploma or equivalent preferred
•Welding certification in 1G Limited height with backer required
•2 years of mig welding experience, stainless mig welding and some tig welding preferred
•Working knowledge of fabrication methods and equipment to include various saws, portaband, vertical & horizontal bands, milling & drilling machines, metal shear, metal lathe, sanders/grinders, power punch press, hand & power benders, rolling machine, hand brake and various power hand tools, drills, etc. is required
•Experience operating a forklift with certification or ability to be certified
•Experience operating an Oxy/Acetylene torch preferred
•Familiar with fabrication machinery such as Iron Worker, band saw, Roller, as well basic power and air tools
•Detail oriented, ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently
•Well versed in shop math and layout processes, experience reading tape measure and understand measurements down to a 32nd
•Must be available to work overtime on short notice
•Must be able to write neatly and maintain a clean and orderly work area
•Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs., 75 lbs. on occasion
