Stamping Die-Setup and Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Stamping Die Set Up Operator for all shifts to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and tools, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Duties

- Set up and troubleshoot stamping dies in presses, ensuring safe and efficient production startup.

- Program and adjust press controls (speed, feed, sensors, pilot release) and transfer systems for proper die and part function.

- Safely change, clamp, and align dies within press windows following company standards.

- Perform lubrication and daily safety inspections on presses and transfer equipment.

- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.

- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in all work areas.

- Monitor and report issues such as downtime, scrap, and maintenance needs.

- Promote and adhere to all safety requirements, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, corporate safety procedures, and IATF 16949 standards.

- Recommend and implement corrective actions for non-conforming processes.

- Carry out additional duties or special assignments as directed by management.

- Forklift certified is an asset

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment

- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material requirements.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
