About This Job

Identifies problems and possible solutions, takes appropriate action as needed with regard to geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities:

•

Performs field observations and inspections on geotechnical projects;

•

Prepares engineering letter reports documenting field-related engineering tasks;

•

Assist in preparation of proposals and reports;

•

Review design drawings, building codes, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, certification processes, formulas, or equipment required for projects;

•

Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, soil type, or moisture content, and areas observed or inspected;

•

Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare geotechnical engineering reports for review

Minimum Experience and Education:

BS degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

Required Skills:

AutoCAD

Civil 3D

Licensing or Certification requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Compensation Range:

$58,100.00 - $87,100.00
