Staff Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain pricing control processes and ensure timely metal market pricing adjustments.

- Monitor and maintain the cost accounting system to ensure accurate job costing.

- Oversee inventory accounting and controls to maintain accurate data integrity.

- Assist with monthly close processes, including financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.

- Support Treasury and cash management activities.

- Perform budget comparisons and variance analysis.

- Conduct inventory and standard rate analysis and control.

- Provide support for Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions.

- Track and monitor tooling amortizations and tooling billings.

- Collaborate with external accountants to provide necessary documentation for statutory reporting.

- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory controls.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
