Position Overview
The Staff Accountant is a key member of the finance department, responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions while supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Responsibilities
- Process all accounts payable (AP), including vendor invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions and following up on overdue accounts.
- Process accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing customers, processing payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including general ledger maintenance and various account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper authorization and accurate coding of invoices and expenses.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and administrative processes.
- Perform other general accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Bilingual (English & Korean)
- 2+ years of proven experience.- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with automated AP/AR systems.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Experience in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Familiarity with public company reporting (10-Q, 10-K).
WORK AUTHORIZATION
The ideal candidate for this role will have authorization to work in the US prior to joining TransGrid Energy LLC. The Company will not sponsor or offer assistance with the sponsorship for work authorization in the United States.

Compensation Range: $70K - $90K
