Process Design Engineer – Mechanical Systems

- Understanding the impacts of design decisions on safety, process, operation, project scope, and permitting. Working cross-functionally to ensure that all such considerations are understood by the team

- A data driven approach to supporting optimization, troubleshooting, and constraint busting for existing facilities

- Documenting control narratives and communicating process needs to the controls team for new equipment or processes

- Developing commissioning plans and assisting in commissioning and start-up

- Developing procedures for turnover to operations

- Screening alternative and/or novel technology options

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or similar from an accredited program

- 7 to 10 years' experience in designing and/or operating/supporting industrial processes, ideally within anaerobic digestion, waste handling, wastewater, and/or RNG

- Strong engineering fundamentals, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential

- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication

- Desire to continue to grow their career with a progressive and entrepreneurial organization

- Impeccable execution skills, self-starter, motivated, and independent, yet communicative about plans and progress.

- Operational and/or hands on experience and perspective preferred
