Job Responsibilities:
The Sr. Foreman, Water Treatment Plant will serve as an integral member of the team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
•Lead and manage a team of field operators, contractors, and technicians in the operation of water transfer systems, ensuring a high level of performance and compliance with safety and operational standards
•Oversee the ongoing operation of water transfer pipelines, pumping stations, and related equipment
•Monitor daily performance to ensure the continuous flow of water and troubleshoot any operational issues
•Collaborate with the maintenance team to execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for water infrastructure, including pipelines, pumps, and storage systems, to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruptions
•Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols, policies, and all relevant local, state, and federal regulatory standards. Ensure all team members are properly trained in emergency response, safety procedures, and compliance with PADEP water management standards
•Work with internal departments (such as production, drilling, and logistics) to synchronize water delivery schedules, optimize routes, and improve the efficiency of water transfer operations
•Take immediate action to resolve any issues related to water transfer operations
•Perform troubleshooting, provide guidance, and ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner to minimize disruptions
•Track operational data, such as water volumes transferred, maintenance activities, and compliance reports
•Submit necessary reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders as required
•Oversee the training and development of water transfer operators and field personnel
•Provide regular updates and training sessions to enhance skills and ensure ongoing operational excellence
•Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of water transfer systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending best practices to enhance operations
•Comply with Highland’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures while taking a proactive role in managing environmental, health, and safety for assigned areas of responsibility
Job Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in water transfer operations, pipeline management, or a related field, with at least 1 year in frontline leadership role
•Comprehensive knowledge of freshwater and produced water systems, pipeline infrastructure, and fluid transfer processes
•Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing water management, including PADEP standard
•Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience in leading field operators and contractors
•Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
•Experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically with water transfer pipelines, is highly preferred
•Knowledge of SCADA and other water management software systems
•Ability to work independently and handle complex operational challenges
The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America with a valid driver’s license with no restrictions to operate a company vehicle.
