Overview:
The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for supervising the field and subcontractor workers; and is directly responsible for field installation activities in a specifically assigned area.
Responsibilities:
•Provides necessary tools and installation equipment in the work area prior to the arrival of workers.
•Provides installation instruction to the workers by detailed verbal explanation or detailed sketches.
•Maintains the organization of all materials to ensure ease of installation in the work area.
•Expedites the availability of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure that the workers stay in the work area.
•Inspects and tests the installation.
•Calls for code enforcement inspections.
•Mark-up as-built drawings daily.
•Responsible for timekeeping.
•Enforces safety policies and responds to incidents.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience holding a Plumbing Foreman role.
•Experience enforcing company safety programs and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
•Commitment to the implementation.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
•Versed in the industry and the Company�s competitors.
•Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
•Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
•Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
•Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
•Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
•Operating machinery and/or power tools and motor vehicles.
•Low and high indoor temperatures.
•Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.
•Noisy and quiet environments.
•Light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20 - 100 pounds.
•0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
