Essential Duties And Responsibilities•Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and drive business performance.
•Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
•Revenue & Cost Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue drivers, cost trends, and profitability to identify key business drivers.
•Strategic Partnerships: Partner with business leaders and operational teams to communicate financial results and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
•Month-End Close Support: Support the month-end reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial statements.
•Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support long-term planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
•Compliance: Oversee and manage ongoing compliance with all bank loan covenants, including timely and accurate preparation and submission of required financial reports and certifications to lenders.
•Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the forecasting and reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
•Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or similar finance roles.
•Technical Skills: Strong background in financial modeling, variance analysis, and reporting.
•Tools & Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage and analyze large datasets. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
•Data Management: Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and experience using data transformation tools such as Power Query. The ability to clean, transform, and summarize data to support financial analysis and decision-making is essential. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with and manipulating data.
•Collaboration: Ability to partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
•Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex data and trends to senior management in a clear and actionable format.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position generally requires a candidate’s presence in our office and is not primarily a tele-work or remote site position. The candidate may interface with customers, financial partners, bank personnel, vendors, other employees, including Senior and Executive Management as well as the public.
