Sr Commissioning Analyst

Location: This position is onsite at either JH Campbell located in West Olive, MI or Ludington Pump Storage located in Ludington, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).

General Summary of Job Responsibilities

The Sr Commissioning Analyst applies an intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering/commissioning principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields; makes decisions independently on engineering/commissioning problems and methods; and represents the organization in meetings to resolve important questions. Requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of his/her field and related sciences and disciplines.

This position will support the commissioning of instrument, controls, and process components and systems. The candidate will need significant experience in the areas of instrument and controls systems design, configuration, calibration, programming, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting of process instrumentation, and testing of I&C systems such as DCS, PLC, and/or SCADA systems. Experience required with actuators, regulators, valves, sensors, transmitters, transducers, Emerson Distributed Controls Systems such as Delta V and Ovation, Rockwell Automation products such as Allen-Bradley Programmable Automation Controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives, etc.

+ [OR] Associate's degree in a scientific or technical field with six (6) or more years of experience reading electrical schematics & diagrams; performing/managing instruments & electrical components, mechanical testing; experience or exposure to National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, knowledge in OSHA 10 & 30 and safe work behaviors and practices, NERC standards and compliance, and MPSC Gas code + [OR] High School Diploma/GED with eight (8) or more years of experience reading electrical schematics & diagrams; performing/managing instruments & electrical components, mechanical testing; experience or exposure to National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, knowledge in OSHA 10 & 30 and safe work behaviors and practices, NERC standards and compliance, and MPSC Gas code
