Job Summary:

This position establishes a centralized and comprehensive approach to measuring and monitoring conformance with pipeline and electric requirements as well as company policies to maximize public safety and mitigate risks associated with utility operations. The quality assurance analyst will be responsible for identifying utility process safety and operational risks, documenting workstream processes including control points, developing, and measuring control points, establishing quality assurance testing plans and analyzing the results, and working with the business to execute corrective action plans and improvement plans. Additionally, this position will facilitate investigations into process deficiencies during utility installation, operations, and maintenance. This position will monitor the effectiveness of work order management processes and benchmark key metrics. This position is responsible for supporting continuous improvement projects within the Utility Operations.

Essential Functions:

Education:

Preferred Education:

ASQ Certified Auditor or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 3 years of gas or electric distribution experience, including 1 year working with the SAP managing work orders and running list edits

Preferred Experience:

Use of corporate systems including but not limited to SAP, FileNet, ServiceHub, ESRI.

Use of data analytic software and data visualization software like PowerBi and Tableau.

Use of statistical techniques and algorithms.
