Job Summary
The Production Specialist position is responsible to maintain optimum production from assigned wells, meeting company standards for appearance, and upkeep of assets. This position will interact with I&E technicians, Production Supervisors, and Production Engineers to maximize well production and minimize downtime while reducing environmental hazards, safety risks and costs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
•Monitor and maintain all production-related equipment.
•Manages daily fluid production.
•Analyze production-related problems and work with supervisor and any other relative personnel to troubleshoot.
•Submit daily electronic reports.
•Inspect lease sites, ensure they are clean and maintained, and check for spills and fluid leaks.
•Routinely inspect and perform basic equipment maintenance to ensure proper working order.
•Communicates regularly with Production Supervisor and Production Engineer.
•Performs all duties in accordance with Encino’s Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.
•Completes Lease Operator training as directed.
•Optimizes artificial lift system as required.
•Mentors and trains less experienced lease operators.
•Seeks and shares best practices.
•Provides work direction and is a resource to others
•Supervises wireline operations and helps train lease operators in wireline
•Supervises nitrogen injection operations and helps train lease operators in nitrogen injection
•Use Echometer to shoot fluid shots and troubleshoot downhole issues
Requirements:
Qualifications
•Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications.
•Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines.
•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
•Able to work effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.
•Able to effectively abide by company policies, procedures, and technology.
•Able to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
•Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
•Displays appropriate and effective communication in all situations (email/text/phone/reporting)
•Able to cover Production Supervisor duties as needed/requested
•Advanced knowledge of gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly.
•Advanced knowledge of safety/environmental requirements and practices.
•Advanced knowledge of oil and gas processes & production equipment.
•Advanced knowledge of analyzing and solving mechanical problems.
•Able to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
•Able to check wells on a daily basis, driving to and from wells.
•Able to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
•Able to teach/mentor less experienced employees.
•5+ years related work experience
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D required
Degree in Technical field or Bachelors’ Degree Preferred

Work Environment
This job is in a field-operations-based environment with subject to seasonal field conditions ranging from normal to extreme temperature and weather conditions.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position and typical schedule is Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and available to work the weekend on-call schedule when scheduled. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
