Specialist (1H), Project & Work Resource Mgmt

Overview

The Project & Work Resource Management Department is seeking to hire a highly motivated professional to join its team. The Specialist performs technical and administrative activities related to the development, review, maintenance and distribution of policies, methods, controls, procedures and performance associated with Project Management. Demonstrate a service-oriented work ethic with experience in managing multiple tasks and changing priorities

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

- Develops and manages detailed timelines to meet deliverables

- Support project schedulers in obtaining updates and other project related information

- Generate and distribute reports to the project team and stakeholders

- Provide support for cost and administrative functions for project and program teams

- Identify and raise issues to be resolved while facilitating and tracking resolutions

- Collects reporting and status on project timelines.

- Perform other project related assignments as required.

- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience

- Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant business experience or

- Associate's Degree and four years of relevant business experience or

- High School Diploma/GED and five years of relevant business experience is required

Preferred Education/Experience

- Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant business experience

Relevant Work Experience

- Must have strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft office products Required

- Electric Operations field experience Preferred

- Ability to become proficient in the use of the project management software (Primavera), Unifier, SharePoint, , BI and Tableau

Skills and Abilities

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

- Project Demonstrated project management skills

- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills

- Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments

Licenses and Certifications

- Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands

- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.

- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory,as needed
