Solar Service Technician (Entry-Level Friendly!)

As a Solar Service Technician, you’ll be the hero customers count on to keep their solar systems running strong. From troubleshooting electrical issues to climbing rooftops with confidence, every day will bring new challenges and new opportunities to grow.

No solar experience? No problem. If you’re motivated, curious, and ready to learn, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot & repair solar PV systems (residential & commercial)

- Perform inspections of mechanical & electrical components

- Perform start-up and commissioning for new PV components

- Support warranty claims by testing & documenting results

- Assist with tool management and maintenance of company vehicles

- Deliver exceptional customer service—because happy customers are the best part of the job

Preferred Skills:

- Interest in solar energy, electrical work or hands-on trades

- Possess critical & analytical thinking skills

- Basic comfort with tools & willingness to learn

- Comfortable climbing ladders, carrying up to 50 lbs

- Comfortable working on steep rooftops & working in crawlspaces

- Comfortable working outside in inclement weather

- Ability to understand and follow OSHA & company safety protocols

- Self-motivated, dependable & safety minded

- Strong desire to be a team player and work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

- OSHA 10/30 Certification

- Electrical experience and / or knowledge of electrical theory

- Roof work or general construction experience

This position requires travel to local and regional in state locations and will require a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
