Job Title: Solar Sales Consultant (Hybrid)
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Solar Sales Consultant to join our team and help homeowners transition to clean, sustainable energy solutions. This hybrid role allows you to split your time between office-based training and on-the-road sales activities. You’ll engage with potential customers, present the advantages of solar energy, and successfully close contracts. No previous experience in solar or formal degree is required – we provide comprehensive paid training from industry professionals, as well as leads to help you succeed. This is a commission-only position with a competitive earning structure – the average commission per sale is around $5,000, offering limitless income potential. Both entry-level candidates and experienced sales professionals are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
•Customer Engagement: Travel locally to conduct in-home and virtual presentations, educating customers on solar power, cost savings, and available financing options.
•Sales Process: Use provided leads to build relationships, address customer inquiries, and close sales. Commissions are earned with each successful deal.
•Lead Management: Reach out promptly to leads, schedule appointments, follow up on proposals, and update customer information in our CRM system.
•Achieve Sales Targets: Strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals. Track progress and stay motivated in a results-driven environment.
•Company Representation: Maintain a positive, professional attitude. Participate in team meetings and continuous training to stay up-to-date on products and best practices.
Compensation:
This is a commission-only role with no base salary. You’ll earn income directly from sales, offering the following benefits:
•Average Commission: Approximately $5,000 per sale, depending on the typical deal size.
•Unlimited Earning Potential: High-performing consultants can earn $300,000+ annually (as sales per month add up quickly).
•Competitive Commission Structure: Our commission rates are among the best in the industry. As you grow, so does your earning potential.
•Income Example: Closing just 4–6 sales a month could lead to monthly commissions of $20,000–$30,000 or more.
Qualifications:
•No Degree Required: A high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable. Full training in solar sales will be provided.
•Sales Experience a Plus: While prior sales experience (e.g., in solar, home services, or automotive) is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
•Strong Communication Skills: You should enjoy talking with homeowners, with the ability to explain complex information in simple, understandable terms.
•Self-Motivation: As this is a commission-based role, you’ll need to be driven, persistent, and have a positive mindset to close deals.
•Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle for traveling to client homes and meetings.
•Professionalism: Punctuality, attendance, and a polished appearance are essential. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Open to Entry-Level Candidates: No solar experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm, people skills, and readiness to learn.
