Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will identify, engage, and close sales with large-scale clients, such as businesses, municipalities, and commercial landowners, to promote the adoption of solar energy solutions. As a Commercial Consultant, you will educate clients on the benefits of solar energy, create customized proposals, and drive the growth of solar farm projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Client Acquisition & Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients for solar farm projects, including commercial, industrial, and governmental organizations.
•Sales Presentations & Proposals: Present and pitch solar farm solutions to potential clients, tailoring proposals to meet client-specific energy needs, space availability, and financial goals.
•Market Research & Strategy: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, government incentives, and technological advancements in solar energy. Develop sales strategies based on market data.
•Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, project timelines, and contractual terms to secure sales agreements with clients.
•Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and repeat business.
•Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and installers to ensure smooth project execution post-sale.
•Consultative Approach: Educate clients on solar energy systems, financial benefits, and available incentives, helping them make informed decisions.
•Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track sales performance and report on key metrics to leadership. Meet or exceed sales targets and deadlines
Compensation:
Commission Structure (Net-Profit Based):
Consultants earn 20% of the net profit on each executed contract.
•20% commission on the first $1,000,000 in net profit
•20% commission on the next $5,000,000 in net profit
•20% commission on any net profit above $1,000,000

Performance-Based Escalation: When a consultant's net profit contribution exceeds $1,000,000 in a calendar month, the following escalating structure applies:
•10% commission on the first $1,000,000 in net profit
•15% commission on the next $5,000,000 in net profit
Bonus Accelerator Plan
Eligibility:
Consultants must generate at least $500,000 in net profit in a single month to qualify for bonus tiers.

Terms & Conditions
•Bonuses are in addition to base commissions.
•Net profit is subject to financial verification and audit.
•Bonuses are paid within 30 days of the performance period or milestone.
•Consultant must be in good standing (no disputes or compliance issues) at time of payout.

Referral Bonuses:
•Referring new clients or new sales consultants to the company.
Tiered Client-Based Commission:
•High-Value Accounts: A higher commission rate for larger, long-term contracts (e.g., government contracts, large commercial properties) could be offered.
Qualifications:
•Experience: 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, solar energy systems, or commercial sales.
•Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, renewable energy markets, and related financial incentives (e.g., tax credits, grants).
•Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
•Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client needs and design optimal solutions.
•Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, or a related field preferred.
