About This Job

Responsibilities

•

Generate your own leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, social media, events, and personal network

•

Educate homeowners on the financial, environmental, and practical benefits of solar energy, battery storage, and EV charging

•

Sell PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and third-party ownership deals confidently and ethically

•

Build proposals and price deals using redline models – keep the difference as your margin

•

Close deals independently and manage the sales process end-to-end

•

Follow up with prospects using CRM tools and effective communication strategies

•

Track sales performance and meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals

•

Provide a top-tier customer experience, building long-term trust and generating referral business

•

Stay up to date on industry trends, financing options, and product offerings

Requirements

•

Minimum 2 years of solar sales experience, specifically with PPAs or TPOs

•

Proven ability to self-generate leads (door-to-door, referrals, digital, etc.)

•

Strong understanding of redline pricing and margin-based compensation

•

Confident closer with a track record of high conversion rates

•

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•

Proficient with CRM tools and basic solar proposal software (e.g., Aurora– training available)

•

Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented

•

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

•

Must be based in Central Texas or willing to relocate

•

Weekend and evening availability for in-home or virtual appointments

•

Comfortable operating as an independent contractor (1099 role)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
