Location: Los Angeles, California

Pay: $30-$35 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solar Foreman to oversee commercial solar installation projects throughout Southern California. This role will require some travel across the state and is responsible for leading a crew, ensuring quality installations, and maintaining safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in solar energy systems, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple job sites efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise a team and coordinate all aspects of solar installation projects on-site.

- Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

- Ensure all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and timelines.

- Organize and delegate work tasks to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

- Act as the primary on-site company representative for construction matters.

- Assist in developing the Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.

- Provide guidance and training to installers to ensure quality workmanship.

- Maintain daily progress logs and report updates to the Site Superintendent.

- Conduct pre-construction and weekly construction meetings as required.

- Perform hands-on construction tasks when necessary.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in solar installation, construction, or a related field.

- Previous leadership experience as a Foreman, Crew Lead, or similar role.

- Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electrical components.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

- Proficiency in operating construction equipment and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Must be able to climb ladders and work on high roofs.

- Must be able to lift ~70 Lbs.

- Ability to travel throughout California for various project sites.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive hourly pay: $30 - $35 per hour
