Energy Select is a Maryland-based renewable energy company with offices in Leonardtown and Cumberland. We’ve been providing expert electrical services for 20 years and installing solar for over a decade. Our scope of work includes installation of solar PV systems, energy storage systems, EV chargers, LED lighting upgrades, and solar repairs.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Solar Installer with a strong background of electrical skills. You’ll be responsible for the electrical wiring and installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems. You will follow electrical plans to execute the installation of the system and commission the system after installation.This role may include other electrical services such as main service panel upgrades, EV charger installations, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

- Install PV systems including racking, modules, wiring, running conduit, and commissioning with the help of a team

- Follow electrical and building plans to measure and correctly mount racking onto customer’s homes and businesses

- Perform electrical tie-ins, service panel upgrades, battery storage integration, and EV charger connections in residential main service panels and commercial utility panels.

- Troubleshoot electrical or installation issues when they occur in order to safely tie in solar and energy storage systems

- Ensure all work meets NEC, local code, and safety standards.

- Lead and coordinate daily on-site work for efficiency and quality.

- Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.

Requirements

- Proven experience in PV installation or electrical work (AC/DC wiring, conduit runs, service panels). Residential or commercial

- Skilled with electrical and installation tools.

- Electrical license preferred; Enphase experience a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

- Commitment to safety on every job site.

Pay & Benefits

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Pay: $25–$31/hour, based on experience.
