Site Survey Technician

Summary:

Site Surveyor is an integral part of Unicity Solar Energy's success and will focus heavily on working with the jurisdictions on plan checks and permit issuance. Time will be spent driving a company vehicle to and from local jurisdictions submitting and retrieving solar permits as well as doing Site Surveys for the engineering department.

Responsibilities:

- Effectively manage your schedule to complete several time sensitive tasks on a daily basis.

- Organize routes, drop plans on site, occasionally place labels if needed.

- Communicate with several county inspectors on a daily basis.

- Getting photos of Job sites

- Getting paperwork signed from Building Departments

- Driving to and from job sites and building departments

- Inspect roofs for structural integrity

- Maneuver through Attics

Qualifications & Requirements

- 1 year of roof work or general construction experience preferred

- Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitive duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time

- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor

- Organizational Skills

- Ability to work well others in a collaborative team environment

- Ability to use hand and power tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
