Purpose of Role: The Shop Person / Primer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment and shop floor. They will be splitting their time between painting/priming parts coming in from sandblasting, and doing manual labor related to overseeing housekeeping and maintenance of the rubber shop.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Forklift: Assist with loading/unloading of trucks and work with the shipping/receiving team regarding deliveries and shipments

- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe shop environment at all times. Work with hand tools such as drills, saws, hot knives, etc. in a safety conscious manner

- Prime Parts: Apply primer to parts with a brush and roller. Read and interpret drawings using a keen eye for cosmetics and quality

- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- 1+ year of experience working in a warehouse or production environment

- Experience using hand tools

- Forklift driving experience
