Bit Service Company Ltd. is a Saskatchewan manufacturer and distributor of mining products and equipment, founded in 1965.
Locally owned and operated, employing professionals between Esterhazy and our head office in Saskatoon, we have grown to provide full design, fabrication and repair of cutting assemblies for underground mining and tunnelling equipment, including cutting optimization and wear reduction.
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the shop labourer’s primary role is to perform all trim chain activities, including repairs, inspection, and new chain assembly.
· Disassemble, organize, perform inspections and rotoblast trim chains
· Assembly of chain patterns, stamping parts and inserting bits
· Assist the warehouse in shipping and receiving
· Identify and pick parts from warehouse and get ready for shipment
· Assisting with new fabrication such as bit wrenches and cover caps
