Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards while adhering to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality assurance.

Duties

•

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.

•

Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them appropriately.

•

Maintain accurate inventory records and update the inventory management system as needed.

•

Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

•

Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement within shipping and receiving processes.

•

Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for precise measurements during quality assurance checks.

•

Analyze data related to shipping and receiving operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

•

Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials required for manufacturing.

•

Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to maintain food safety standards when applicable.

•

Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO 13485 regulations.

Experience

•

Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred, with a focus on quality systems.

•

Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, including coordinate measuring machines.

•

Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 13485 standards is advantageous.

•

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.

•

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accuracy in shipping processes.

•

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
