Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. This position involves handling packages, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.

Duties

•

Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.

•

Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them appropriately.

•

Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and maintain accurate stock levels.

•

Assist with order fulfillment by picking orders accurately and efficiently using order pickers.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of all shipping and receiving tasks.

•

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing orders.

•

Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.

Skills

•

Experience operating a reach truck is preferred.

•

Familiarity with distribution center operations and processes.

•

Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management.

•

Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is a plus.

•

Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).

•

Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.

•

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

•

Previous experience in order fulfillment, order picking, or related roles is advantageous.
