We’re Hiring: Level 2 Sheet Metal Mechanic – Step In, Step Up

Location: Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $26–$33/hour | Full-Time

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Level 2 Sheet Metal Mechanic — someone with 2–4 years of real-world experience and the ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and jobsite curveballs. You’ll be installing hoods, ductwork, fans, and support systems in commercial kitchens across the region.

We don’t babysit. You’ll be expected to work efficiently, problem-solve in the field, and push jobs forward without waiting to be told what to do next. This role is for people who know how to contribute — and who are confident doing it.

What You’ll Do:

- Read shop drawings and job specs

- Install kitchen hoods, duct, fans, and curbs

- Measure, cut, and assemble components with accuracy

- Work on rooftops, ladders, and lifts — every day

- Prep, load, and lead small scopes of work

- Support the foremen by staying two steps ahead

What You’ll Bring:

- 2–4 years of experience in commercial sheet metal or HVAC

- Clean driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Solid hand tool skills and mechanical awareness

- The ability to work under pressure — and deliver

- Strong communication and follow-through

- A track record of showing up — mentally and physically

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

This is field work. You'll be lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, working on rooftops, in tight spaces, and exposed to the elements. You’ll use hand and power tools daily and be expected to move with purpose — not pace.
