Level 2 or 3 Sheet Metal Apprentice
Are you a motivated Sheet Metal Apprentice looking to advance your skills and build a long-term career in a high-demand trade? We’re currently hiring Level 2 or 3 Sheet Metal Apprentices to join our team of skilled professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both fabrication and installation, while working under the guidance of experienced Journeypersons and Foremen. We support our apprentices with mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.
- Currently enrolled in, or have completed, Level 2 or 3 of a Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program
- Minimum 1 year of industrial sheet metal experience
- Fabrication experience required
- Must specify your current level of training and completed hours (or the level you’ve finished)
- Assist with day-to-day shop and field tasks under the supervision of senior tradespeople
- Fabricate and install sheet metal components on industrial jobsites
- Operate plasma machines and other fabrication equipment
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Support general shop duties as required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize, and take initiative
- Eagerness to learn and reliability in following directions
- Comfortable working at heights and using hand/power tools
- Good English communication (written and spoken)
- Completed minimum Level 1 Sheet Metal training
- Forklift experience an asset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work both in the shop and on jobsites as needed
- (May consider a first-year apprentice with the right attitude and skills.)
